We all have a story to tell

When I wrote my first book: An Adventure with God, it took me many months to decide first to give it to someone to read, and then to trust strangers to read it. I was basically afraid of criticism, and been told that what I had written was rubbish and not worth publishing. I did get a critique but it in fact helped me to change my story and to think about why I was writing. I plucked up the courage eventually to send my story to a publisher, and to strangers who said they thought I had a story to tell! I learned that we do all have a story to tell, and that life is about taking risk and being vulnerable. What's the worse that could have happened. Once the book was published I was surprised when people told me that I had inspired them to complete something they had started writing.
